Cosmic Butterflies
Enjoy a highly participatory gathering of contemplative music celebrating our new growth cycle. Singing together in a circle with acoustic instruments and light percussion, we find the collective voice, in harmony and rhythm. Participants may choose to join in, share a song, or simply listen. Right on time for Day of the Dead, our band will host an Ancestral Medicine Song Circle. This will be an intimate song circle in honor of our ancestors, celebrating our departed loved ones. The event takes place on Friday night, Nov 1, 2019, in Austin, TX.
Music will be highly participatory—your chance to sing along and share songs ancient and new. Cosmic Butterflies [And A Bear] will lead a traditional “circle singing” exercise, and then host an ancestral medicine song circle. Participants may choose to join in, share a song, or simply listen.
On the full harvest moon, we co-facilitated a Sacred Sound Journey. This was a mystical event, meant to be, primed with fine instruments and excellent musicians, packed with an attentive audience, complete with yoga mats, pillows, and warm fuzzies all over!
