Lyrics
To create the peace in me
I must sing as sparrows sing
As a royal force of calm
That relaxes everything
With the sparrows’ soothing song
And the wind sending it long
I will pacify this forest
Being tender kind and strong
To create the peace in me
I must journey as the deer
Being stealthy in the forest
Moving safely far and near
With composure as the deer
I will walk to make my way
To the place where I am going
At a pace I can sustain
To create the peace in me
I must breathe as the bee
In the presence of the petals
With the pollen that I bring
With obedience as the bee
I will work delightedly
To be humble artful helpful
Noble diligent and sweet
To create the peace in me
I must see as eagles see
Having keenness in my senses
Having sensibility
With a lift of eagles’ wings
I will elevate my mind
I will focus my attention
On the fine gifts that I find
To create the peace in me
To remember how to smile
I must get to know my nature
As a child everwild
I am lion hear me purr
I am humming hummingbird
I am raindrop bearing rainbow
I am crystal clear and pure

Story
In 2016, I ventured to a site in Wyoming with my brother Jordan (pictured in the music video), and some close friends. This was a rugged canyon landscape with a wild river that claimed the life of our dad, 20 years prior. His name is Terry Lindsay, and he fell into a river whirlpool in 1996—his body never surfaced.
We returned to this place in order to send a loving vibration into that portal. We knew this was our mission, because some of our aunts and uncles were suffering with terrible grief. To remedy the fear, sadness, and bewildering feelings of loss that dominated that place for 20 years, we brought our songs, smiles, and joy.
