“Dancing Constellation” – Music Video

To be a “star on earth” generally means to be an exceptionally talented and gifted individual in a particular field or area. A star is someone with the ability to inspire and influence others with their achievements, skills, and talents. A star is someone who makes a significant contribution to society and the world at large through their positive impact on the lives of others.

And in a spiritual sense, there’s another meaning. A star embodiment hints at standing in sovereignty—bringing brilliance and beauty into the world. In some Native American cultures, an ancient “Star Nation” exists, believing the ancestors came from the stars, for example. In other spiritual circles too, there are discussions of light bodies, star seeds, and other celestial beings who shine on earth in various ways, radiating divine virtues.

We are Cosmic Butterflies [And A Bear], the freshest band in the Live Music Capital of the Worlds. This Austin ensemble originated in a mysterious wave, with a mystical wind, lit up by a sacred fire, held by a firm earth.

We are song carriers, driven by the inspiration we’re given. That’s why we say our songs are received, instead of written.
