“The Voice” is a highly artistic, experimental, and exploratory song of ours. This one speaks of Source energy’s influence on all of us, beating our hearts, breathing our lungs, keeping us alive and inspired. It is a healing song, inviting listeners to harmonize with the Holy.
In the chorus, we recite an ancient Sanskrit mantra: *“Om-mani-padme-hum,” with infinite interpretations, such as: Behold, the jewel in the lotus; and *“Karuna-hum” means: Compassion is my nature. These words reinforce the reverent nature of this song, presenting a message that radiates and resonates on a heart level.
This song is now available for streaming and digital download: Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon… Our complete album Colors Flying is also available for purchase.

Lyrics
The Voice of all voices is singing
Singing in the innermost
Calling all of us who listen
To listen and lend our voices
The heartbeat it is being drummed
Om-mani-padme-hum om-mani-padme-hum*
The heartstrings they are being strummed
Karuna-hum karuna-hum*
The presence of the Presence is with us
Here now in the moment
Calling all of us who focus
To focus and lend our voices
The heartbeat it is being drummed…
The Star of stars is guiding
Guiding high in the heavens
Calling all of us who wonder
To wonder and lend our voices
The heartbeat it is being drummed…
The harmony of the Harmony is calling
Calling the star people
Calling all of us who sparkle
To sparkle and lend our voices
The heartbeat it is being drummed…

Story
One Christmas morning, I sat beside a fire and discovered the hypnotic guitar riff that invited in this song. The words arrived swiftly and effortlessly, as if they were divinely given. The song took on a dazzling effect when our band began to play it. Suddenly, Vic’s flute sounded like something mystical and exotic while the other instruments worked their wonders, and the voices exemplified the life in harmony.
We introduced this song at a sound healing event. It was the centerpiece between a kirtan (a call-and-response style of singing ancient songs set to music) and a sound bath with crystal bowls and gongs. Listeners lied on their backs and received the gifts of music and sounds of a loving vibration.
